Log in with Passkeys on Mynt – Easier and More Secure Login

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Remembering passwords can be frustrating and insecure. That’s why Mynt now supports passkeys – a modern, secure way to log in using your fingerprint, face, or device PIN. No more passwords, recovery emails, or login issues.

What is a Passkey?

  • A new type of login – no password needed

  • Linked to your device

  • Confirms your identity just like unlocking your phone or computer

Benefits of Passkeys

  • No need to create or recall passwords

  • No more reset emails or login trouble

Secure

  • Cannot be guessed or stolen

  • Works only on legitimate websites

  • Protected by your device’s hardware

Fast

  • Log in instantly with fingerprint, face, or PIN

How It Works with Mynt

1. Check that your device supports passkeys

You’ll need a compatible device:

  • iPhone or iPad (iOS 16 or later) with iCloud Keychain enabled

  • Android (version 9 or later) with Google Autofill enabled

  • Mac (macOS Ventura or later) or Windows 10/11 with a browser that supports passkeys (Safari, Chrome, or Edge)

2. Already a Mynt customer? Add a passkey

You can now add a passkey even if you log in with BankID or username + password.

How to set it up:

  • Log in at mynt.com

  • Go to Settings > Security Settings

  • Click “Send email to create passkey”

  • Open the email on a supported device

  • Follow the steps to complete setup

You can now use your passkey to log in next time.

3. New to Mynt? Create a passkey during login

  • Visit mynt.com

  • Google Account (Android devices)

They move with you, just like contacts and photos.
