Fortnox and Mynt have partnered to offer a streamlined and efficient experience for businesses looking to use corporate cards. Here's how the process works and how responsibilities are shared between the two companies.
1. Getting Started
To become a card customer, the business first contacts Fortnox and expresses interest in the Fortnox corporate card. Fortnox then initiates the registration process and submits the customer as a card user.
2. KYC with Mynt
The customer is directed from Fortnox to Mynt to complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) form. Once submitted, the application is either approved automatically or reviewed manually by Mynt's team.
3. Choosing Between Debit and Credit
After KYC approval, the customer can choose between a debit or credit setup:
Credit option: If the customer applies for credit within the Fortnox platform, they are redirected to Mynt’s website to complete the credit application. Since Mynt is the card issuer, Mynt handles both KYC and the credit assessment.
Debit option: If the customer chooses debit, funds are added to the card account either via direct debit (autogiro) or bank transfer. Customers can also enable automatic top-ups – this means funds will be automatically added via direct debit when the balance falls below a set amount.
4. Card Ordering and Use
Once the setup is complete, cards can be ordered directly within the Fortnox platform. All management of the Fortnox cards happens within the Fortnox environment – users do not receive a separate login to Mynt.
Cards are ordered per individual user, but all users draw from the same shared balance on the Fortnox account. Once the cards are received – physically or digitally – they are ready for use as long as there are sufficient funds. Individual spending limits can also be set directly in Fortnox.
5. Receipt Management via the Fortnox App
After making a purchase with the Fortnox card, users can easily scan their receipts using the Fortnox mobile app. The scanned receipt is then automatically matched with the corresponding transaction and sent directly into the bookkeeping system – making expense reporting and accounting much easier and faster.
Administration – Handled Entirely by Fortnox
If you are using the Fortnox Corporate Card, all administration is handled by Fortnox, not Mynt. This includes:
Card management: Ordering, blocking, and settings
Accounting and reconciliation: Account setup and receipt handling
User administration: Adding and managing users
Onboarding is done entirely through Fortnox and is not managed by Mynt.
Support and Contact
Fortnox card customers should contact Fortnox Support – not Mynt – for all assistance and questions related to the card.
