Subscription Cards

Updated today

Subscription cards are virtual company cards designed specifically for managing subscriptions and other recurring online payments.

The card can be transferred between users when needed, for example if an employee leaves the company but the subscriptions connected to the card still need to remain active.

This makes subscription cards particularly useful for services that are billed continuously, such as software subscriptions or other recurring services.

Important to know about subscription cards

  • These are virtual cards only

  • The card can only be used for online payments

  • The card cannot be used for physical purchases in stores

  • The card cannot be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay

  • The card can be transferred between different users

Where can I find subscription cards?

You can find all subscription cards under the Teams & Cards tab.

There you can:

  • View a list of all subscription cards

  • See which user the card is currently assigned to

  • Manage and transfer cards between users

Convert an existing card to a subscription card

You can also convert an existing card into a subscription card. This can be useful if a user is leaving the company but the card is used for a subscription that needs to continue.

How to do it

  1. Go to the user who currently has the card

  2. Open the card settings

  3. Select the option to convert the card into a subscription card

Once the card has been converted, it can be transferred to another user.

If the card is in a digital wallet

If the card has been added to Apple Pay or Google Pay, it must first be removed from the digital wallet before it can be converted into a subscription card.

You can read more about how to remove cards from digital wallets in this article.
