Once your accounting integration is connected, your account has funds, and your card has been created, you're ready to make your first purchase.
Start using Apple Pay or Google Pay right away
As soon as your card has been created, it can be used for digital purchases.
Add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay and use it for:
Online purchases
In-app purchases
Payments in physical stores using your phone or smartwatch
Both physical and virtual cards work with Apple Pay and Google Pay immediately – you don't need to make a chip and PIN purchase first.

Your first purchase with a physical card
Once you've received your physical card, the first purchase in a physical store must be completed using chip and PIN.
Insert the card into the payment terminal.
Enter your PIN.
Complete the purchase.
This only applies the first time the physical card is used in a store.
After your first purchase, you can:
Pay contactlessly with your physical card.
Pay using chip and PIN.
Use Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Find your PIN
You can find your PIN in the Mynt app under:
My Cards → Card settings → Show PIN
Submit your receipt
After you've made a purchase, you'll receive a notification in the Mynt app.
From there, you can:
Take a photo of your receipt.
Select a category for the purchase.
Tap Submit.
Once you've done this, your purchase is ready for accounting.
Virtual cards
Virtual cards can be used for:
Online purchases
In-app purchases
Payments with Apple Pay or Google Pay
Virtual cards do not have their own PIN and cannot be inserted into a payment terminal.
Some online merchants may ask you to verify your purchase with BankID.

Do I need to wait for my physical card before I can start using it?
No. You can add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay as soon as it has been created and start using it right away.
Do I need to make a chip and PIN purchase before Apple Pay or Google Pay works?
No. Apple Pay and Google Pay work immediately for both physical and virtual cards.
When do I need to use chip and PIN?
Only the first time you use your physical card in a physical store.
