Connect Mynt to Bokio

By integrating Mynt with Bokio, you can automatically export card transactions and accounting data from Mynt to Bokio.

Before you begin

To connect the integration, you need:

  • An active account in both Mynt and Bokio

  • Administrator access in Bokio

  • Permission to connect accounting systems in Mynt

Step 1: Connect Mynt from Bokio

  1. Log in to Bokio.

  2. Go to Integrations in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Mynt from the list of available integrations.

  4. Click Connect.

Step 2: Sign in to Mynt

You will now be redirected to Mynt.

  1. Sign in to your Mynt account.

  2. Check the box "I have an active Bokio account and permission to connect it."

  3. Click Connect.

Step 3: Approve the connection in Bokio

You will be redirected back to Bokio.

  1. Select the company you want to connect (if you have multiple companies).

  2. Review the permissions requested by Mynt.

  3. Click Approve to complete the connection.

Step 4: Configure your accounting settings

Once the connection has been established, you will be redirected to Settings → Accounting in Mynt.

Here, you can:

  • Configure your accounting settings

  • Select default accounts

  • Add dimensions such as cost centers or projects to ensure transactions are posted correctly

Step 5: Export transactions

When your transactions are ready to be posted:

  1. Go to Accounting & Export in Mynt.

  2. Export your transactions to Bokio.

Step 6: Verify the journal entries in Bokio

Once the export is complete:

  1. Return to Bokio.

  2. Go to Accounting → Posted Transactions.

  3. Verify that the exported transactions have been created as journal entries.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are transactions exported?

Card transactions, receipts and accounting data are exported from Mynt to Bokio when you choose to export them.

Can I change the accounting settings later?

Yes. You can update your accounting settings and dimensions at any time under Settings → Accounting in Mynt.

I'm having trouble connecting Bokio. What should I do?

First, make sure you have administrator access in both Bokio and Mynt. If the issue persists, please contact Mynt Support and we'll be happy to help.
