Mynt Intelligence can automatically approve eligible expenses based on receipt data and your company's spend policy.
If Mynt Intelligence cannot confidently determine whether an expense should be approved, it automatically routes the expense to a human approver according to your existing approval workflow.
Note: Mynt Intelligence is currently available to customers who have the feature enabled by Mynt.
How Mynt Intelligence works
When an expense is submitted, Mynt Intelligence:
Reads and validates the receipt information.
Checks the expense against your company's spend policy.
Automatically approves the expense if all approval criteria are met.
Routes the expense to a human approver if information is missing, unclear, or outside your company's approval policy.
All decisions are logged and visible in the approval workflow.
Enable Mynt Intelligence
Mynt Intelligence is an opt-in feature, allowing you to choose which approval rules should use it.
To enable Mynt Intelligence:
Go to Settings → Approval Policy.
Open the approval rule you want to edit.
Enable Mynt Intelligence as an approver.
Click Save Policy.
Mynt Intelligence works alongside your existing approval workflow. If it cannot confidently approve an expense, the expense is automatically routed to the next approver.
You stay in control
You can enable or disable Mynt Intelligence for any approval rule at any time.
All AI decisions are visible in the approval workflow, allowing you to see which expenses were approved automatically and which were escalated for manual review.
Limitations
Mynt Intelligence currently applies to expense approvals only.
It does not support approval rules for supplier invoices.
