How to Use Auto receipts
Auto receipts is a feature in Mynt designed to simplify receipt management by automatically matching receipts with the correct transactions.
The feature saves time and minimizes administrative errors for users.
Here’s a step-by-step overview of how the system works:
Getting Started
Log in to Mynt on your computer.
Navigate to My Transactions.
Click on My Receipts.
Hover over “Email receipts” to reveal your unique email address.
For simplicity, we’ll refer to this email address as your “Mynt Inbox”.Note: This address is unique to each user and should not be shared between different users.
Email receipts to your Mynt Inbox or upload them directly from your computer.
Receipts uploaded to My Receipts will go through our matching algorithm:
If a matching transaction is found, the receipt will automatically be attached to that transaction.
If no match is found, the receipt will remain visible under My Receipts, where you can manually match it by dragging and dropping it onto the correct transaction.
Automating Receipt Forwarding
For those who want to automate the process even further, you can create forwarding rules so that all emails containing the word “receipt” or “kvitto” and an attachment are automatically sent to your Mynt Inbox.
Gmail
Go to mail.google.com.
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select “Advanced settings”.
Go to the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab and click “Add a forwarding address”.
Add your Mynt Inbox address. Wait until the address is verified (usually less than a minute).In the search bar at the top, type: (receipt OR kvitto) has:attachment
Click the filter icon to the right of the search bar, then click “Create filter”.
Check “Forward it to:” and select your Mynt Inbox address.
Click Create filter – done!
Outlook (Web Version)
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select “Email”.
Click “Rules” and then “Add new rule”.
Name the rule something clear, e.g. “Mynt Receipt Rule”.
Under “Add condition”, select:
Subject or body includes → kvitto, receipt
Has attachment
Under “Add an action”, select “Forward to” → your Mynt Inbox address.
Save the rule – done!

The Auto receipts feature costs 99 SEK per month per company.
Occasionally, we offer free trial periods so you can test the service before full implementation.
FAQ
I received a digital receipt where the email itself is the receipt (no attachment). What should I do?
You can simply forward the email directly to your Mynt Inbox.
If no attachment is detected, we will automatically convert the email content into a PDF.
Is email the only way to send in receipts?
No — you can also upload files directly from your computer under My Receipts.
How do I know if the algorithm has matched a receipt?
You’ll receive a notification in the notification center.
Limitations for Administrators
Admins cannot directly match receipts that haven’t been automatically matched.
These receipts will only appear in the view of the respective cardholder.
As an alternative, you can forward all receipts to the company’s unique Auto receipts address to match them under “All expenses.”
