Export issues

Troubleshoot common export problems

If a transaction can't be exported, there are several possible reasons. Below you'll find the most common issues and how to resolve them.

Are you receiving an error message during export?

If the export fails, click on the transaction to open the details panel on the right.

If your accounting system returns an error, you'll see an error message explaining what needs to be fixed.

Once the issue has been resolved, try exporting the transaction again.

Is the Export button missing?

If the Export button isn't available, the transaction may be under Not submitted.

A transaction must first be submitted before it can be moved to Ready for export and exported.

👉 Read more in the article Submit unsubmitted transactions.

Is the transaction still pending?

If the transaction is marked with a yellow clock icon, it is still pending and has not yet been completed.

Pending transactions cannot be exported until the transaction has been completed and the clock icon has disappeared.

Check your accounting integration

If the export still doesn't work, the connection between Mynt and your accounting system may need to be reconnected.

A user who is an administrator in both Mynt and your accounting system can disconnect and reconnect the integration.

Go to:

Accounting settings → Disconnect accounting system

Then reconnect the integration.

If the issue persists after reconnecting the integration, we recommend contacting your accounting system's support team to verify that:

  • Your user has permission to post accounting entries

  • Your user has administrator access for the relevant company

If everything looks correct but you're still unable to export transactions, contact Mynt support through the chat and we'll be happy to help.
